KHOREE THE POET

Khoree ‘The Poet’ was born Corey Page in Los Angeles CA. At the age of 14 he moved to Pittsburg CA. and later attended the University Notre Dame where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. He is a Poet, Actor, Host, MC and San Francisco Bay Area Business Owner, supporting non-profits, the community and youth.

Khoree was the first Poet to ever perform in the 17 years of its existence at the (sold out) Bay Area Stone Soul Concert, where he opened for Gladys Knight. He also shared stages with Freddie Jackson, Faith Evans, The SOS band, the O'Jays, Dwayne Wiggins of Tony Toni Tone, Marsha Ambrosius, Lalah Hathaway, Kelly Price, and Lenny Williams to name a few.

He was the featured artist with Singer William Davenport at one of the worlds most respected premier jazz venues, the famous Yoshi’s, to two sold out audiences and recently performed in his own sold out 750 seat event, “ The Khoree the Poet Show.”at the Historic Bal Theater where he introduced ‘The Love Movement’ nationwide in poetry. Khoree has hosted and or performed for comic greats John Witherspoon, Steve Harvey’s nephew Tommy and Lunell.

As an Actor Khoree performed in Tyler Perry’s stage Play “Hell Hath No Fury Like A woman Scorned” and Lorraine Hansberry’s, sold out show, “A Raisin in the Sun”. He has appeared on Bravo’s reality T.V. show “Newlyweds”, acted in television commercials, “Discover Card” and “Heineken” and worked alongside great talents, Patrick Swayze, Billy Bob Thornton and others...
